Västmanland

This area, in the west of Stockholm borders the lake Mälaren in its northern part. I crossed it while returning from the West coast of Sweden in April 2003. Around the two large Swedish cities Väterås and Örebro, one finds many farms and fields, which contrasts quite a lot with the very close Värmland which is covered with forests.
