Sweden - Stockholm in summer

Archipelago

The Stockholm archipelago is stretched over a length of approximately 140 kilometers from North to South for a maximum width of 70 kilometers. It counts approximately 24000 more or less deserted islands. Certain islands are inhabited all the year, but the majority are right occupied during holidays or weekends by inhabitants of Stockholm . It is a rather magic place because of its size, the omnipresence of water, forests, rocks, boats and coloured country cottages.
